Cravby is a food discovery app launching in Kochi. Right now the only thing we collect is a waitlist signup. This page explains exactly what that means.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we store:

• Your WhatsApp number — required, so we can tell you when we launch
• Your first name — optional, only so the message isn't addressed to nobody
• The dish you asked for — optional, e.g. "porotta"
• A source tag from the link you arrived on, so we know which poster or post brought you here

That's everything. We don't use cookies, we don't run analytics, and we don't track you across the web.

Why we collect it

• Your number: to send you a WhatsApp message when Cravby goes live in Kochi, and at most a couple of messages in the run-up. Nothing else.
• The dish: to decide which dishes and neighbourhoods to cover first. It genuinely shapes what we build.
• The source tag: to understand which of our efforts worked.

Our legal basis

Your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time — see below. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Cravby is the Data Fiduciary for this information and you are the Data Principal.

Who else sees it

Nobody. We don't sell, rent or share your number with restaurants, advertisers or anyone else.

The list is stored in Google Sheets, so Google processes it on our behalf as our infrastructure provider. The site itself is served by Cloudflare. Neither uses your data for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Until we've launched and told you about it, and for up to 12 months after — or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. If Cravby never launches in Kochi, we delete the whole list and tell you we've done it.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what we hold about you
• correct anything that's wrong
• delete your data entirely
• withdraw your consent, which means the same thing as deleting it

Children

Cravby isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that affects you, we'll update the date at the top and, where it matters, tell you directly.
